The worst thing about Parler is that only members have any idea what happens in there. That means that 99% of the population will never have a clue. I have never seen so much as a screenshot from the place.

I’m on Parler and it only requires an email address. It asks for your number, but you can skip that.

Setup a Google Voice account and get a Google Voice number. I've had one for about 8 years now. I used the Google Voice number as my phone# on Parler and it worked fine.

It uses a phone# capable of receiving a text message for confirmation. That's it. Using a google voice# works just fine for that purpose.
