Just signed up this afternoon. I live in Connecticut but this is a good way to show support for the president. I hope millions more sign up.

This doesn't really cause the Trump campaign any difficulty as they don't actually distribute tickets. You print them out and take them with you to the event. First to show up are the ones that get in. Also, if you do plan to attend, you need to show up first thing in morning and be prepared to wait all day (thousands actually do this). As a bonus, if you look presentable and are wearing Trump apparel, you might be pulled aside and invited to sit in back of Trump for the speech so that you are on TV the whole time.

The arena shows a capacity of 19100 people. I assume that is with an event scheduled on the main floor where they could conceivably seat maybe another 8 to 10 thousand people.

And I don’t see how they convert outside parking to a TV screen area for several hundred thousand people.

This is all a week from yesterday. Just a little off the cuff campaign gathering.

And to be fair, it ought to be a blow the doors off event—Tulsa is really the center of Trump Country.

The two rallies I’ve attended since the President was elected (I attended one in August of ‘16),in New Hampshire,were held in an auditorium that holds about 10,000.And despite that capacity thousands were denied entry each time.And that’s in tiny New Hampshire...population about 1,200.If Oklahoma City is anywhere near Dallas or another large Texas city those hoping to attend had better arrive three days before the event.

You cannot scalp something that is free. It is first come- first in so people will line up a day ahead. I would go just to stand outside if I lived anywhere near Tulsa. It is going to be very hot.

The fire regulations declare the maximum allowed in an arena. Sometimes the people standing on the floor take the place of people who otherwise might have been in sections of the arena that are blocked off. Every Trump rally has been completely full as far as the fire regulations allow.

For those who don’t know how these rallies work, it’s very clever. They require tickets but they’re free, you sign up on on-line and get a maximum of 2 tickets. But no seats are assigned, first come, first served. They let in a certain number of people, then they close the doors, and those still outside (ticket or not) are out of luck. I guess they can try to get a refund for the tickets, but since they were free, that doesn’t go very far.

So, if/when Leftists try to be cute and reserve some tickets and then not show up, no problem - the rally still fills up, since there weren’t any reserved seats to begin with.
