China is reportedly deploying aircraft carriers into war games in waters near Taiwan..

That’s a bit different than the clickbait headline.

How do aircraft carriers invade island countries? Did anyone notice, say, a bunch of troop ships with 200K soldiers aboard?

SSN targets. Remember the USN has plenty of experience sinking carriers. The PLAN has no experience defending them. Dead meat.

OH NOOOOOOO! One of our two CSGs could wipe out the entire
chi-com Navy— look up CSG ( chicoms navy whose two carriers consist of the OLD Soviet— Soviet era uncompleted Kuznetsov with ski jump launch deck- no catapault, and it’s recently launched Shandong COPY of the Kuznetsov— whoopee. With our stolen tech (with bugs inserted certainly) Both conventional power oil fueled.) Taiwan, Australia, S. Korea, Japan and even Vietnam would respond to this “threat”— and the chi-coms know it (not the crazy PLA generals all fellating XiPing, but even they can see they can’t take us-— and they look UP a lot where they really have no clue).

Which is why the proven bioweapon (which has purposely been veiled, not showing our hand). 60,000 Uyghurs known to be missing from their labor camps (back in late January their bodies went up in smoke... from SARSCov2-CCP virus).

“The move is playing into concerns that the Chinese Government could be moving to take advantage of the current global crisis as tensions with the US continue to worsen.”

right, because the perfect time to invade a neighbor is right when the entire world has turned against you for releasing a pandemic that has destroyed the world economy, including your own ...

China’s bizarre behavior overlooks the weakness of their air and naval forces. Their army has massive numbers on the ground that creates a quality of its own, however they are weak logistically if operating beyond their own borders.

While their present ability to project power is still very questionable, their intent is now very clear to anyone paying attention.

The PLAN doesn’t need carriers to take Taiwan. Taiwan is in range of land-based aviation from the mainland. What they do need are helicopter-equipped amphibs — and lots of them — because there aren’t many beaches suitable for landing large contingents of troops.

Carriers have their uses, but for China taking Taiwan doesn’t require them.

Did we ever sell Taiwan any Ohio class subs? One of those can bring China to its knees.

Don’t say that here.

The new story is we would barely defeat them MAYBE and a war game run by the DOD showed us losing a naval battle with them

like the DOD is gonna give actual results to the media

It would be a disaster for the chinese

A couple of carriers that are a million years old

big deal

And all those helo’s and STOLs..... nice slow targets.

Aussies are on the edge, seriously pissed off— and at their mining magnate a-hole whom they may remove from the country— he keeps kissing his rice bowl chi-com’s a@@es. ANZACs!

The Japanese-— are re-focusing on the chi-com efforts to duplicate the 1930’s Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere— nationalism on the rise. Aside from the yen, they hate the chi-coms.

It’s an acronym I’m not familiar with.

China needs ships and aircraft to mount a blockade of Taiwan such that supplies cannot reach it while an invasion is under way. Aircraft carriers and subs would seem to fit that bill.

No big news- and no worries— this is the story (See: Gordon Chang) all over free media in Asia— that are not the chi-com propaganda organs. The really big story is the really foolish closing down of Hong Kong— the loss of real... real money to the chi-coms (estimated at more than a third of all revenue to mainland china economy) that will put the cap on the pressurized bottle rocket of these non-Confucians.

Of course our “war game” results would appeal to leftists in media anywhere. Who continue to support the bioweapon/economic attack-— which will be their end politically.

Just conversation, they are the last commies (but not the last totalitarians) XiPing is in trouble, and they are mobsters.

During the US-Russia cold war, this type of activity was called saber rattling. It always sparked fears that never panned out except for the Bay of Pigs situation. When the US and Russia were the closest to a War than ever before and since.

China wants to dominate the world and is trying to do it through passive aggression. If a war were to break out countries will flock to the side they see winning. For China a war would be the worst mistake they could make. They would forever be tied to German Nazis received as far as reputation goes.
