My church had a drive in sun rise service. The pastor asked if I would play my bagpipes to start us off. Boy was it loud in my car!

I would argue your friend is one of the ‘useful idiots’ that make life in this world so trying. For 60 years, he (ot sure if he or she since you did not say) hated Christ and I expect he showed that hate in how he voted and what organizations he gave his money and time.
Now, on his death bed, when he can do not more harm to the rest of us, he ‘wondrously’ finds God.
I just find it sad how many angry, hateful people on this earth follow this course during their lives.
