Another way to bolster the RAT scam. Cut out Saturday delivery - save a ton of loot. Deliver every other day - save even more loot. Deliver once a week - oh, my.
Should fit in well with the dems vote by mail idea.
the only person I know that still depends on physical mail as their primary means of receiving mail is my 87 year old mother :-)
I don’t recall the last piece of physical mail I received that I didn’t also get in an email. I could live without physical mail
“So you didn’t get that physical letter from your uncle with the $50,000 check he left you in his will?”
I paraphrased that from a comedy :-)
My 87 y/o mother pays few bills in the assisted living center, but through last summer she did most of her business online. We got her started when she was still in her 60s.
1933. Good year!! :) Your mom might be ‘32. :)
That’s great your mom uses it.
I have tried so hard to get mom online.
Now that I told her she can watch old masses on it she might let me teach her :)
I hope mom is faring well.
It's not 2000, it's 2020.
God bless your mom. My dad is the same age.
I definitely agree.
I think we would be good with 3 or 4 days even.
I can’t force mommy at 87 to change her ways so we need it for at least some time more.
And I forgot. I do use the restaurant coupons :)
Do most of my shopping on line.
Tried Aldi delivery. Ordered all the heavy stuff...sugar, milk, canned goods. Loved it.
Postal union caused their own demise
Hey awesome! :)
I pray he is faring well.
Mom’s a though old Sicilian :)
Well she was born here. Pop was born in Naples and came over at 6. He’s in a better place now for a while.
I think he is :). He was a good guy so he should be
I remember the mailman coming to our office and talking and talking. Found out that’s how he racked up his overtime.
Really??
That’s hysterical :)
Mom (1933) has done mass and rosary online for a few years. She loves the flexible scheduling. Having that at her fingertips alone is worth it. We also say hello every morning and have other conversations on FB chat. Having these tools handy is even more important in the facility these days as she is confined to her room much of the time.
Dont play their game! The USPS has been operating at a huge loss for decades and will still do so in the near future. Its just a DemonRat trick to get people arguing among themselves.
Its great that you do that every morning and have the FB chats.
I will tell my mother. I will tell her nonchalantly how I know someone her age who uses it with no problem.
I know her. It might get her going :)
I pray your mom, though confined to the room much of the time, isn’t suffering any pain.
She sounds like a real tough one. I admire that she jumped right onto the internet and didn’t live in the past when it comes to technology like my mom.
She hangs up on me with cell phone calls as soon as she picks up 50 percent of the time!
My MIL is 84 and gets along quite well with an iPad. Facebooks, surfs Internet, emails, sent me a birthday present from Harry & Davids, etc.
I’d be fine with Congress simply ending the theft of $5 billion a year from the USPS coffers.
That’s Great!
Let them suffer.
