Eleven students who attend Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, have come down with coronavirus symptoms after returning to campus. Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. decided to reopen the campus to students at the end of spring break despite public health officials warning him not to do so. The Democratic governor of Virginia Ralph Northam had previously banned gatherings of more than 100 people in the state to which Liberty said it would transition most classes to online.

this is a preview of what will happen to any public official that tries to unwind the lockdown.
Let’s review NYC and NYS:
It was never serious.
The homeless untouched.
Illegals untouched.
Gays festivals untouched.
Known drug markets untouched.
Muslims untouched.
Subways never closed.
Still an open borders sanctuary city/state.
A JOKE of a lock down to “bend” the curve.
Not a peep from the Virginia governor.
Regular people see right through it and are ignoring the power mad mayors and governors.
Two things: First - showing symptoms may mean they have the flu.
Second, they’re young. They’ll probably be fine.
And a third thing. If they do start to get serious flu-like symptoms, just take the French drug pair. And then they;ll be fine.
Meanwhile, everybody is getting an education. Life goes on.

Exactly. This is nothing compared to what is going to happen to Trump two days after he re opens the country no matter when he does it.

11 out of 15,000 on-campus students. Statistically zero. No different than any where else. We have lost all ability to judge perspective in this country right now.

The outrage is based on fake news. Liberty has responded. There is no evidence they did anything unsafe. No students on campus have or had covid.
Students coming from hotspots were isolated or they were not allowed back.
Note, Covid-19 is real, a friend’s GF passed away this morning in Paris (40-50 yo, healthy and active until the covid-19 got her). But if precautions are taken, orgs can be safe w/o having to completely shutdown.
Certainly, a small isolated college with 100% residential dorms can be safe. University of Michigan, probably not.
