Same here, started symptoms Christmas day, still coughing up phlegm to this day. Started out with dry cough, fever, extremely tired, short of breath, etc. I traveled with the family to Florida and back in the two weeks prior to Christmas and we were at Disney for a few days during said trip. I also was in the ER with my father Christmas Eve day.

Trump has to work with the advisors on hand.

President Biden? Under no circumstances.

Thank you for your post. Your post raises another question: If the ERs seem to be quiet all around the country, why are the Democrats/media screaming for MORE MASKS, more PPE, etc.? There can’t be any shortages (yet) if the ERs are quiet...

“If we do not see the hospital overran we need to demand impeachment for ruining the economy.”

It seems like there’d be more of a case to be made for impeachment if we DO see hospitals overrun. That would indicate that all of the quarantining didn’t accomplish the intended goal (i.e., keeping the hospitals from being overrun).

Perhaps you could ask your sister (the nurse) to chime in on whether her ER or local hospital is being overrun? Thank you.

the hospitals in Colorado are completely empty and literally locked up except for emergency room patients because ALL elective procedures were cancelled ... it’s REALLY spooky

My take is they’re covering for the fact preparedness suffered greatly under the Obama administration...Public Health funding spiked post-9/11 and gradually decreased year-to-year...after a while, preparedness suffers...think what the previous 8 years prior to Trump where the funding went.

I am in Sierra Madre, near Pasadena, So Cal. Two cases here - one South Korean woman traveled all over Asia, then flew HERE !! and died. The other was at a conference in Kentucky, came home got sick, and is recovering. The other death was a guy who was in Florida, went to Disney World (!), came here/ home with it and died.

We are sheltering in place since it is Commie California, but everybody is out walking, the stores are letting folks in 10x a time, TP is 2/ per person. The Mexican restaurant in town is selling curbside margaritas which I think is very nice.

Everything is closed down but the hospitals are not piled high and deep. We hear of a case here, one down south, etc. Nothing much.

I agree with the President - when the ‘cure’ is worse than the disease, it’s all wrong. I hope he lifts it by March 31 like he reiterated/ suggested today.

Dolts that think they can stare down the virus, self-absorbed FluBros who think that they can defy the restrictions put in place to keep this from crashing our HCS, solipsistic morons that believe anything outside of their personal experience is a hoax or a conspiracy or simply not real, those are the greatest danger.

If they have their way there will be real economic destruction and a possibly long-term crash of our HCS. Right now the best plan is to follow the guidelines and not put other people at risk for your own selfish gratification. Do that and we can be out of it in weeks instead of months.

It’s war. Join the war effort. On the human side.

Numbers will continue to rise as more are tested. There are probably millions out there carrying it but are asymptomatic. Death numbers will increase, but as the positive tests continue, the overall death rate will decrease and probably be closer to season flu.

Are they in the hospital or isolated at home? In other words, they’re positive, yes, but what are the symptoms?

Oh, but you haven’t learned from history. Our dear government leaders—especially “the scientists”—will take CREDIT for preventing the hospitals from being overrun and the dead bodies stacking up. Just like Y2K, when nuclear plants would melt down and jet airliners would fall from the sky. Al Gore took CREDIT when all of the Y2K predictions did not come true.... Or MERS and Ebola, which were going to kill MILLIONS and didn’t kill on American, not because they were never a serious threat to our country, but because Tony Fauci was on the ball!!

China has 1.4 billion people, and they have 5,000 deaths

You have absolutely no idea that this data from China is true, but do carry on.

Florida's numbers might rise because half of New York is setting there sights on immigrating to the Sunshine State

At least Gov. DeSantis is trying to quarantine New York "immigrants" for two weeks, may not pass Constitutional muster though.

Bort!! My husband and I had that too, right as Christmas ended. Dry cough, NOT chesty, coughed all night. We were all talking about it at work too - lots of kids/ tutors had it. I’ve never had anything like that either.

We are in So Cal, and there are a lot of Chinese south of here, and tons of back and forth flying

hmmm.
