The house just passed a federal version which would do the same thing on a Federal level.

How sad for them. Maybe they should not have created the People’s Republic of California.

I was under the impression that music had already been destroyed.

Same max sound level for each track, same chord progression and that d*mn Millennial Whoop in every song.

Oh yeah, now you've got to give Keith Richards health insurance if he sits in with your band.

I'm guessing that quite a few of the musicians, actors, writers, arrangers, and editors who work in the entertainment business in California are liberals, yes.

I actually have a close friend of fifty years who went to California thirty-five years ago to be in the music business; he came back home after twenty-five years and is an absolutely insane, screaming liberal with whom you cannot have a conversation on any subject that lasts more than thirty seconds or so without him veering off into rabid Trump-hate. Before that it was rabid Bush-hate.

I'm well aware that it's claimed that many of the behind-the-camera people in Hollywood are closet conservatives.

If that's true, then — to quote Ash, the humanoid robot in Alien"you have my sympathies."

The current place for bands to make it is now Nashville. Even ones that aren’t country music. Know a couple of local bands that moved there. Glad they did before the rush of Californians leaving due to this stupid law get there and screwed everything up like they’re currently doing with Texas.

I’ll see your friend and raise you my son. A two-band member and musician since 70. A die-hard conservative as are most of the members of the two bands he plays with in Sacramento.
