I think the author is shooting from the hip and I don’t know what he is basing his Michele theory on. If she really wanted it I don’t think she would wait because the last thing these people want is 4 more years of Trump. RBG is hanging by a thread and I am worried about Thomas.
She will wait because Trump will win no matter who the Dem candidate is, is my point. Why would you enter a race you’re going to lose and taint your brand for the next time around if you can wait and face a potentially weaker challenger?
Except Michelle loathed being FLOTUS and has no desire to return. Everyone would see her as an end-run to give us eight more years of Barack the same way I saw Hillary as an end run to give us eight more years of Bill.

Three weeks ago I would have agreed with you. The MSM/DNC have used the virus to crash the markets and it is officially a bear market now. Major events and Colleges (run by leftists and helping the rats) are cancelling all over the country the travel industry is an deep trouble. It has become perilous for Trump. There is always danger for a sitting president if the economy tanks. In my mind Michelle was probably the biggest threat in the rat party and no one has had more positive coverage then her. If she wants it she may be the actual candidate in waiting and I don’t know if Joe can keep the car on the road until the convention.

I agree. She was the frumpy, angry, disdainful, leftist woman through the 2008 campaign and first year of office. Couldn't hide it at all. Then, I think, someone influential got through to her, or she had an epiphany: the job will be easier if you play along, and the corrupt American media will be there to help you.

Her best shot is likely a Biden win. It will be even more obvious by that time that Joe’s memory and speech issues are serious, and she can step in as the 2024 Heir Apparent.
