I wrote Richmond Buffalo Jump to avert another catastrophic (for conservatives) Charlottesville outcome.
The head of the VCDL, Philip Van Cleave, discussed it with Col. Gary Settle, the boss of the VA state police, before the event.
The result was what we saw, extremely clear ROE, announced
well in advance, clear lines of demarcation (fencing, guns outside, no guns inside, etc), and a Charlottesville outcome was averted.
Do you think there would have been a better outcome by my just sending a random open letter to VA LEOs on some LE website’s comment sections? How about on their LE Facebook pages?
My approach worked, and there was no Charlottesville outcome. But to work, Buffalo Jump had to get plenty of attention first. And it did.

Not far from me but I don’t need it, or anyone else. Self-quarantined on my organic farm. 2 year supply (no joke) of fresh, fresh frozen, canned, dehydrated foods from 60 or so different varieties I grow each year.
You name it I have it. Just put in seedlings and seeds for the growing season. Garlic coming up looks great. Wife does the herbs, fire cider, makes kefir, yogurt, kombucha, etc. all the wood I need for heat. Plenty of water in the river and springs. Fresh eggs every day.
Honey from the bees she keeps. Just had Guinness venison stew with dumplings. You have to ford the river to get here. 300 yard defensible perimeter. I stay home mostly. Wife does the gallivanting but can’t think of anything we need. Did buy Everclear though, I guess I’ll have to steam up some shine this year.
this whole 24/7 corona virus hysteria is the dems and their propagandists in the media attempt to ruin Trump’s re-election chances. first it was russia; then it was the ukraine phone call; then impeachment. now the dems/MSM cabal are trying to sink the economy and the stock market to finally take down Trump’s re-election chances based on his economic boom and record employment rates.
more people died from the flu in previous years, than from the COVID-19, but with the sky-is-falling alarmists broadcasting every hour on the hour the number of new cases and the number of deaths in every country without offering any concomitant rational comparison with previous years influenza numbers and survival rates across the US and world, people are of course panicking. and that is what these enemies of Trump and America want.

More people have died from the flu during the current corona hysteria than from the actual coronavirus. That is something the virus pumping groupies don’t seem to notice. Frankly, they really need to get another hobby.

I’m so SICK of hearing about it. The sad part is that they are counting on the low-I.Q. viewers to not do any research and compare with other viruses/illnesses — just take their lying word for it.

Did you even WATCH the press conference that the thread refers to? WITH President Trump? And VP Pence? And all his heads of various departments dealing with the virus????
They are ALL taking it seriously. Deadly seriously. Yes, the MSM will TRY to exploit it but there was not ONE word about that in the press conference.
I'll ask you the same question: Did you even WATCH your President in the press conference?? Neither President Trump nor VP Pence nor anyone else in the administration agrees with you. THIS IS REAL. It's a given that the MSM will exploit it but this is a real threat.

When they were bringing Ebola patients into the US they were taking them to UNMC which is a big, well known transplant and cancer center. These folks have almost none to none at all immune systems. I was very, very worried for those patients.
So you advocate Trump declaring martial law and effectively suspending everyone’s Constitutional rights and effectively becoming a dictator?
Or would it be better for all of us if we just ride this out and not panic?

Yes. I watched the press conference. I try to watch all of them.
They — PDJT and Pence — HAVE to adopt this rhetoric in the hope that the MSM will STFU (which they never will). On the same day, Trump will say the flu is worse.
You’re right. It is “real”. It is a “real threat”. So is the flu. So is norovirus. So are bedbugs. So is Lyme disease. This is different because it conveniently is occurring in an election year, and MSM realizes that people are tired of hearing about Russia, Stormy Daniels, etc. Never let a crisis to go to waste.
Maybe I’m wrong. But by the same token, maybe all the Henny Pennys here could be wrong.

Did YOU watch the press conference with YOUR President, YOUR VP and his entire team dedicated to stopping this virus? Again what they seem to believe is completely opposite of the attitude you're conveying.
Did anyone find Trump to be uncharacteristically subdued today? Anyone surprised that he left the presser?
They don't have to say anything. The evidence that this a major threat is being proven every day. They are of course trying to have people avoid panicking but they are announcing measures tomorrow to compensate people tomorrow for what sounds like mass quarantines.
The DANGER is already worse than all those other things you've listed. This HAS and is overwhelming all efforts to contain it everywhere in the world. This is a problem because it sickens a large percentage of people who end up needing hospital treatment. If it spreads like the flu (and all evidence is that it's more virulent than any flu) then our medical care system is going to be overwhelmed. The CDC says so on their website.
I think he only showed up so people would pay attention. The real big news comes tomorrow at another presser.
