Well 2 things.
First, The response I would have given can’t be typed here. Maybe last year but I’m reforming my posts :)
Second, I WANT the new Vette!!!
...i hope my Challenger didn’t hear that...
Yes, we have to close down EVERY company and only spend money on addicts and crazy people.
****I WANT the new Vette!!!****
Yes, me too!!!
My 20 yr. old Jeep is having problems... and maintenance is so expensive!!!!
My first response: “Why? You wanna buy it?”
Second response red phone scrambled: muckum chuckum phuckum choo!
Wow!
Yeah maintenance on cars as the years go by is brutal. And jeeps.
But the closest i’ll get to driving this is paying 300 bucks to go 4 laps around a track...that’s the going rate where it will be available :(
I guess I’ll put some more $$ into my Challenge and try to add another 50 HP.
Already redid the exhaust and the car is so loud I can’t believe I don’t get ticketed.
But WOW does it move.
But not like a Vette :(
I need to look up the number of times a single dollar spent circulates in a community before it leaves.
Didn’t you once type that the list for your Challenger was around 40 grand?
Add 20 more and you can get a base model.
But the thing is though....There are a LOT of sweet $$ options available on the Vette.
Maybe wait 3 years and buy a 3 yr off lease one for half the price..
That’s what i’ve been doing lately, buying practically brand new cars for half price.
I’d love to have one of the new Vettes.
Aside from not being able to afford it, two things prevent me.
One, we live on a dirt road, so that eliminates anything low to the ground.
But the other, is I was disappointed to find it doesn’t come with a manual transmission as an option. A sports car without a manual just doesn’t do it for me. Yeah, I’m old school, and it’s the trend to go to computer-controlled manual autos, but it would still a deal breaker for me if I was going to pay that much money. I don’t care how fast the paddle shifters work - it’s not the same as being connected.
Good gad. The Corvette's been neutered.
Snowflakes will love them.
It is tough to find a new pickup with a manual. Does any company still make one?
Yea it SUCKS that there is no true manual stick option even though technically the car is a manual.
I believe i read that the car has a suspension height control that will raise the car up for steep driveways and nasty roads.
Very good commentary!
Pity the question wasn’t turned back on the questioner.
Might have gotten the guy to take his brain out of neutral.
I’m not in the market for a pickup right now, but last time I was considering it a year or two back, the Tacoma still had it as an option. Also the Wrangler, so possibly the Gladiator pickup. Nothing from GM or Ford. I’ve not looked at anything from Dodge for awhile.
Toyota Tacoma offers a manual, if you can make do with a smaller pickup.
But if you get the manual in the Tacoma, you can't get the long bed version...have to make do with the short box.
Don't ax me why.
On a side note i don’t believe that the new Vette is available to the general public yet.
Is it?
