RE: Thankfully it looks like Sanders will lose but eventually a socialist will get power and you globalist will all be exterminated

If a socialist were to get power it does not matter what you and I believe in. We will ALL get exterminated. Hugo Chavez nationalized every single industry in Venezuela in the name of —— well, NATIONALISM.

RE: Sure it does when you are running $850B / year trade deficits. /sarcasm so? They get paper money, we get the goods.

$850B is 3.8% of GDP. Nice you Free Traitors™ are willing to throw away 3.8% of GDP so we can get the cheapest products from slave nations.

Don't pee down our backs and tell us it's raining.

And I’m telling you that the bond markets tell us that we DON’T LOSE that $850 billion. Most of it flows back to us in terms of investments in our financial markets. we get the products they produce PLUS the part of money they make. in terms of investments BACK to the USA.

And what do these back investments do? They come back to our banks, who lend it out to entrepreneurs and businesses, who create jobs.

And once again, you keep using the word “traitor” without defining it. I don’t think it means what you say it means.

So you are comparing US Patriots with 3rd worlders? F U. You are perverting what I said and I never proposed nationalizing anything. Just make it here. We have free trade, competition, and free enterprise INSIDE the USA. Perhaps you don’t know that. Free Traitors™ are disingenuous a$$holes so I should have expected your straw man attack.

RE: So you are comparing US Patriots with 3rd worlders? F U.

I hasten to remind you that there are rules in FR that do not allow profanity to be used against people you disagree with. I am trying to have a civil exchange with you and you are disrespecting me by your using profane words ( even if you try to cloak it in abbreviations ).

I am copying the moderator with this because you are breaching the rules.

If you want to debate, do it in a civil way.

By using profanity, you are already losing the argument.

RE: You are perverting what I said and I never proposed nationalizing anything. Just make it here.

I am saying that using the word NATIONALISM does not in any way do anything for your argument. Anybody can throw a word around — Nationalism, traitors, but those are just that -— WORDS.

You were the first to mention “socialism” as in Bernie thankfully not winning. Well, which self-described nationalist is like Bernie? Hugo Chavez of course.

Did I compare US Patriots ( and I consider myself one of those ) with 3rd worlders? Where did I say that?

As for 3rd worldism, heck part of this country is already like a third world.

$850B represents at least $100B in lost wages. So F your bond market. Than doesn't help the guy or gal whose house is worth half of what it used to be and has no job.

Central VA has a huge number of economics refugees from Tennessee. Apparently globalists have finished de industrializing eastern Tennessee.

Here is story for you. A 50ish gal works at the local Food Lion as a checker. She used to be a banker and now makes 1/4 of what she used to make. She said her town had three major factories in it plus a huge lithograph printing conglomerate, now none. It's ghost town now. She had to walk away from her mortgage and her credit is bad so now she can't work in the banking industry. I asked her if she likes Republicans, she didn't answer except she said she did like Trump.

RE: $850B represents at least $100B in lost wages. So F your bond market.

Uh uh, The money that flows back CREATES JOBS and WAGES AND INVESTMENTS AND New Businesses.

Plus, it creates new jobs for people overseas who are NEW MARKETS for American products.

You are only seeing one side of the story.

As for people who lost their jobs, hey, this is what capitalism does. It creates jobs and kills jobs.

Switchboard operator jobs are gone with automated switching technology.

The Horse and Buggy industry went the way of the dinosaur.

The slide rule makers are all gone.

The taxi industry is giving way to ride share businesses like Lyft and Uber.

You think Lyft and Uber drivers are safe? Wait till autonomous self-driving cars become common...

I’m sorry for your 50ish girl, but there are and were thousands of those like her in all those industries destroyed by capitalism’s creative destruction .

You can program in COBOL and make lots of money yesterday but today, good luck finding a job that needs that skill.

That’s just the way capitalism works. Unless you want to save the horse and buggy job....

The jobs that were off shored didn’t go away. It’s someone else in another country is doing them.

No need for a law. Just a really high tariff. But having said that have you ever read the Tariff Act of 1789? Our founders were really smart. Rad the preamble, it's great.

RE: No need for a law. Just a really high tariff.

How High?

If a country like Singapore or a place like Dubai does not impose tariffs on our goods, do we impose high tariffs on their goods?
