My wife works at a high-school and of all the many thousands of kids she’s seen - she’s never heard of one kid becoming a tailor or seamstress. Our town has some - but they are from places like Iraq or Bosnia.

Printed-money financialization and globalization have pushed young Americans away from many very good, stable careers and trades.
