I taught yoga for eons at a local college. I learned about Hinduism... and Zen is just another aspect of Buddhism. Buddha was actually an INDIAN named Sitharth Gautama. So the Buddha SHOULD look like an Indian, either NO hair or a TON of hair. The Chinese changed the Indian Buddha to look Chinese.
The Chinese have thousands of gods and goddesses, like the Hindus. There were kitchen gods, garden gods...you name it. Some Indian women made their husband "god."
The ONE GOD religion of Judaism and Christianity was a world altering change for the good.
When my husband and I traveled to India he was positive that SOMEONE there was worshiping a '56 Chevy. The Chinese had a PANTHEON of gods. They still do, if the Beijing Comrades don't catch them.

I’m a conservative, but I really wasn’t too sure about Trump in 2016. My husband insisted that we go to Trump’s Connecticut rally.
I went in as a skeptic, and left as a believer. After attending the rally, and seeing him in person, I knew he would win.
Trump’s greatest talent, IMHO, is his ability to connect with the “common man.” After that rally, I knew he had my side in the fight.

I disagree. I think they have a helluva shot. I didn’t think they had a shot back in 2016. Yet, they managed to win the popular vote. Thank God for the electoral college. Don’t EVER drop your guard when it comes to the dems.
I hope Connecticut will turn out Dems in Hartford this November. Ned LaMont is making Dan Malloy look like a conservative (and he wasn’t one!).
