If you’re looking to keep up with Maine author Stephen King on Facebook, don’t bother. He isn’t there anymore.
King tweeted Friday night that he is quitting Facebook. A search for his page on Facebook Saturday morning came up empty.
King said on Twitter he is “not comfortable with the flood of false information that’s allowed in its political advertising.”
He also expressed doubts over Facebook’s ability to protect users’ privacy.
Facebook said last month that it would not ban or fact-check political ads, a position that has drawn criticism.
Is he calling for his supporters to setup operations in Las Vegas?
Changing his name to Randal Flagg?

I do find it interesting how 44 was considered hip for going full steam using social media to campaign and even register voters.
But, now that POTUS Trump used and continues to use social media, suddenly it’s bad. Trump has a huge amount of outspoken supporters on a FB. The left hates it. The Lib’s had no issues benefiting, yet now complain and wants to shut down conservatives from the Same. continued hypocrisy.
If they can’t get their way, they will just storm off like a child having a tantrum. But, I'm sure King is still on other platforms.

The left can’t stand opposition on social media
Note how the forums on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes which were enormous volume of threads and replies wise and started out completely dominated by leftists
But in time conservatives probably took a one third of the volume of replies
Snowflakes who run those sites couldn’t take it so they axed comments
It was nice to have a place to discuss movies
