They had one. River Song, and the actress and character were great, and probably could have been spun into a better series than the other spin off they did with the fag character, Torchwood I think was the name. There was no reason to destroy the Who franchise with angry fem wokeness. Indeed. Doctor Who has had strong, and well developed female characters for a long time. Rose and Amy were my favorites. I guess they don't count because they aren't "The Doctor".

The endless remakes of old movies makes this, now rare attender of movies, yearn for the old big movie companies of old where they had writers and composers on staff to come up with ideas for movies. And kept actors and actresses focused on acting and NOT on being political “don’t know it alls.”
