A French publisher has issued an apology after one of its history textbooks suggested that the CIA “orchestrated” the 9/11 terror attacks in the United States, in which nearly 3,000 people were killed.

The textbook titled “History of the 20th Century in Flashcards” was published last November through Ellipses publications to present the entire last century in French, European and world history to undergraduate students.

The sentence appeared on page 204 of the textbook in a chapter about the creation of the Al Qaeda terrorist group and the attacks on America on September 11, 2001, French daily Le Monde reported.

The sentence reads: “This global event — no doubt orchestrated by the CIA (secret services) to impose American influence on the Middle East? — hit the symbols of American power on its own territory.” […]

The publisher said in a statement on its website that the sentence should have never appeared in the textbook. It said the author, Jean-Pierre Rocher, a certified professor of history and geography and a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, wanted it removed. …

Considering that France was heavy in the weapons for oil deal with Iraq, sold weapons to Iraq in 2003, helped sanitize records among other things, I would not be surprised if the collaborationist frogs were involved in some manner.

Good thing this only appeared in one of their text books.

Imagine the damage to the truth if it had been in every single one that was released and they were actually being used to teach classrooms full of humans the wrong information.

Trooferism always seemed ridiculous to me.

But from what we’re learning about our intel people involved in the coup against Trump, I am reluctantly coming to the conclusion that basically NOTHING is beyond the realm of possibility.

Set up 9-11? Hire Chuck Barris as a contract hitter?
If they’d organize this coup they’re basically capable of anything.

… Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event — like a new Pearl Harbor. …
That short paragraph, from Bill Kristol’s old Project for a New American Century website (on page 51 of a report titled Rebuilding America’s Defenses), set much of the trutherism in motion, 9/11 itself being alluded to as the so-called “new Pearl Harbor”.

(Although, in retrospect, a lot of the language in there is reminiscent of rhetoric used by Obama, using words like “transformation”, “revolutionary change” ad nauseam.)
