NEA statement on the U.S. House impeachment vote
The National Education Association ^ | December 18,2019 | National Education Association President Lily Eskelsen GarcĂa

WASHINGTON - December 18, 2019 -

National Education Association President Lily Eskelsen García released the following statement regarding the U.S. House vote on impeachment:

“As educators, we teach students to ask questions and seek answers because the truth matters. Over the last several months, as the impeachment inquiry has unfolded, students across America have received a real-time civics lesson. What they have witnessed is a set of clear and incontrovertible facts that were brought to light confirming the allegations that the President failed to protect and uphold the Constitution of the United States. At this historic moment, and given the weight of these charges of misconduct, we support impeachment for the purpose of a full trial in the Senate, following the Constitutional process laid out by the founders of our country.”

It seems they like to lie. Is that what they are teaching? How to really, really lie and get away with it.

Good Lord —> “What they [students] have witnessed is a set of clear and incontrovertible facts that were brought to light confirming the allegations that the President failed to protect and uphold the Constitution of the United States.”

Only if they were coached and guided by the commie bastards.

DoED Investigation Finds That U.S. Universities Have Taken $1.3 Billion From Russia, China, Qatar
Big League Politics ^ | 12/14/19 | Shane Trejo

Posted on 12/15/2019, 6:37:39 AM by grimalkin

The Department of Education (DoED) is conducting an investigation into foreign governments funding U.S. universities, and they have found that governments such as Russia, China and Qatar have given them a staggering $1.3 billion.

The universities under review include the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Texas A&M, Cornell, the University of Maryland, Georgetown, and Rutgers. Acting general counsel Reed Rubinstein called the initial findings very “disturbing” in a letter to the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, the Education Department.

It would be much better to privatize the “education system”, public education is probably the most worthless expenditure of taxpayer money.

Our Education System Fosters American Self-Loathing
Spectator ^ | 11-12-19 | Ziva Dahl Posted on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 5:36:27 PM by DeweyCA
The American Federation of Teachers, in its most recent journal, illustrates how postmodern ideology also dominates K-12 education. The issue paints America as under siege by the white supremacist power structure and urges its 1.6 million members to counter the pervasive “hostility and discrimination of people because of their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation/identity, immigrant … or disability status” by being activists in the classroom. Teachers should defy our “racist country” by promoting victimized racial and ethnic groups and focus on the social inequities pervasive in America http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3793469/posts

“ Over the last several months, as the impeachment inquiry has unfolded, students across America have received a real-time civics lesson.”

That’s good because any kind of civics lesson at all is one more civics lesson than they learned from your job-for-life-union members.

https://www.cnn.com/2017/09/13/politics/poll-constitution/index.html

“ Americans know literally nothing about the Constitution
(CNN) — If you are way into politics, you are not the average American. Not even close.

A new poll from the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Public Policy Center reveals how shockingly little people know about even the most basic elements of our government and the Constitution that formed it.
Take your pick from this bouillabaisse of ignorance:

* More than one in three people (37%) could not name a single right protected by the First Amendment. THE FIRST AMENDMENT.

* Only one in four (26%) can name all three branches of the government. (In 2011, 38% could name all three branches.)

* One in three (33%) can’t name any branch of government. None. Not even one.

Well, her first mistake is the misuse of the term “educator“, which should never be applied to teachers. An “educator“ is properly define as a leader in the field, theorist, a philosopher John Henry Newman, or a John Dewey. I taught Latin and AP history for 23 years in private schools and never once referred to myself as an “educator.“ And I proudly remained non-certified by the State. You know, Plato once warned us that the State should NOT be involved in education. This woman demonstrates quite clearly just why Plato was right.

Apparently not. Because you promote lies and fail to educate our children. So you have failed, and to top it off, you have lied about the whole affair.

Ahh yes.

Another “statement” from yet another prog-filled “Agency” that has absolutely nothing to do with any of the issues involved so of course since they are being ignored they have to start whining about how horrid it is that no one cares about something they don’t like.

Once again we see the same tired lofty claims about how “historic” it all is.

clear
incontrovertible
indisputable
incontestable
undeniable
irrefutable
unassailable
beyond dispute
unquestionable

For once they might break up the monotonous nature of the screeching by inserting just one clear alleged act that violates some law they are trying to make normal American Citizens believe is based in fact.

All I see is Maggie’s drawers.

Again.

.

Public education in this country is a politicized massive waste of money. The NEA should hang their heads in shame over the way their members have failed completely. My wife's grandmother and grandfather were both teachers as were he mother uncles and aunts. Thank god they have all died and have not had to witness what their once honorable profession has devolved into. It is a horror!

"As educators, we teach students to ask questions and seek answers because the truth matters."

Interesting that you are in fact telling them exactly NOT to ask questions and seek, but instead, to skip any due process, even after what little process there has been has been a one sided contrived sham that no honest educator would even call an indictment. You tell these kids to seek their own food while shoving it down their mouths making them too fat and intellectually lazy and afraid to hunt it on their own, so that they will always be dependent on you for their thinking, always crouching into a psychological safe space no matter how much self-dishonesty it takes.

Very very sad and pitiful, you are disgusting people, lefties with all your fake names, in this case 'educators.'
