Typical socialists. Regulate to strangulate.

very cool thanks!

You are very welcome. I have a guitar with a built in amp that uses the micro USB to recharge and it is a pain to get too. Not any more.

But members of the European Parliament urged the European Commission on Monday to force tech giants to adopt a single universal charging method.

So - Hitler's Nazi fascism actually won WW2?

Just thinking - many of us suffered through the small, crappy USB itenerations - mini and micro, and the old barrel charging tip... UGH. the Lightning plug actually has been the most trouble-free power connection I've ever used (other than Apple's Magsafe connection for their laptops ... that they have dropped now).

I have suspected, though, that Apple will transition the rest of the iPhone line to USB-C as they have done to their MacBook models and their iPad family.

What kind of mindset dictates what a company does as far as charging cables and such? It’s none of their business!

A 35 watt charger will bring the pro pad to full capacity in about an hour and a half from dead.

I’m mostly disappointed in our Ipad Air2, which was our first Apple device. Introduced late 2014 when we bought it, it has essentially been a brick since 2018, being acceptable for nothing except web browsing since that time and we use it for Plants v. Zombies and Freerepublic. My cheap Asus windows laptop bought in 2010 for $400 still won’t die.

In the meantime Apple has lost ground to its competitors and I don’t see us going back any time soon.
