Northern Ireland is not that, just for the record (Protestants outnumber Catholics by about 1 percent); but the Republic of Ireland is, and voted for this in a referendum.
I imagine unicorns are also legal. Neither one is real, no matter how much the totalitarian left pretends.
It happened in Protestant England, Germany and Finland before it happened it Ireland. Formerly Protestant England just imposed it on Northern Ireland. So there’s that. Perhaps you should take into account the entire set of factors in any given situation rather than narrowing it to reflect your personal prejudice.
My characterization stands. The most Catholics states tend to be the farthest left, politically, socially and fiscally. Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, all leftist stronghold, and unapologetically so.
Even the Gaystapo’s lynchpin, Justice Kennedy, was a Catholic. Irish Catholic even.
Not a criticism, just an observation.
