In an interview with TV Republika on Christmas Eve, controversial Archbishop of Krakow Marek Jedraszewski launched an extraordinary spray at the “very dangerous phenomenon” of “ecologism”.
He said that “phenomenon” is “contrary to everything that is written in the Bible” – which instructs humankind to “subdue the earth” for its own needs – and signals a “return to Engels”.
But Jedraszewski saved some of his harshest criticisms for young anti-climate change campaigner Thunberg, whom the archbishop said “is becoming an oracle for all political and social forces” trying to “break with the entire Christian tradition”.
The Krakow archbishop dismissed “teenage activist” Thunberg and the hundreds of thousands of young people around the globe joining her in taking care for environment into their own hands as part of “various” sinister “new movements” turning the world upside down.
“Everything is suddenly being questioned; in fact, our culture is being questioned; the whole world order is being reversed, starting from the fact that the existence of God, the creator, is being questioned; the role and dignity of every human is being questioned”, Jedraszewski complained of Greta and her movement.
“I’ll put it briefly: [this is] a return to Engels and his claims that marriage is another manifestation of oppression, and that in the name of equality one must break with the entire Christian tradition”, the archbishop continued.

“Polish Church leaders have defended Archbishop Marek Jedraszewski of Krakow after he was criticised for accusing radical ecologists of undermining Christian values and branding the Swedish activist, Greta Thunberg, “an oracle for political and social forces”.
“We stand in solidarity with you against these hurtful attacks, which a defender of truth must bear,” 15 bishops and archbishops told Jedraszewski in an open letter. “It is always praiseworthy to speak up for a Christian anthropology which sees in man the image of God himself – so we assure you of brotherly prayer and unity”.
The Church leaders, including the archbishops of Czestochowa and Przemysl, were reacting to international controversy over remarks by the Krakow metropolitan, who told Poland’s TV Republikanska at Christmas the divine order was being threatened by new movements such as “ecologism”, which sought “to impose itself as a binding doctrine”.

He’s right. Post-Christian Europe is adopting environmentalism as it’s new religion. They’re even making noises about getting rid of the unbelievers as heretics.
Either the Swedish or Norwegian church called her the modern savior replacing Jesus. Polish Archbishop says she’s the antichrist.
We need a Polish / Scandinavian war to settle this. My bet is on Poland.

I believe scripture used the term that way at times.
But to label everything you don’t agree with as antichrist cheapens the term.
I see the Climax hoax as a fake science and as a left wing political movement. But it doesn’t seem to have a lot of spirituality to it. The GAIA movement could rightly be called antichrist, because there was a spiritual dimension. The current climax hoax, I just don’t see as being spiritual.
Islam, Hinduism, Buddism, anything or religion that doesn’t depend on jesus for salvation is antichrist.

Europe has been in an anti-Christian dive for decades, it’s really nothing new, although it waxes at certain times. Nietzsche, Marx, Engels, Russian Communists, Nazi’s.
