That was a couple of years ago and I’ve often wondered what happened to the story. I can’t even remember the state where it happened - Ohio maybe? There were pictures of the road, an intersection, curves in the road, the bus stop - horrible story. I guess I can google it to get up to date.

It sounds like this guy was guilty of a minor crime -- he did damage someone else's piece of cloth -- but the sentence is so far over the top that I thought it had to be fake news. Apparently it really happened.
I hope he can afford to appeal, or that he is pardoned by the state governor.
