Haven’t seen the name of the judge reported anywhere.
15 years?!!!!!
BUMP!
That verdict wouldn’t last a minute in the Federal courts.
Anyone who cavorts with leftists (like the idiot who supports his demented and demonic cousin) needs to be taught a lasting lesson.
When you consider gays and lesbians, p1ssing and sh1tting on the rainbow flag is actually respecting their culture.
“Sounds like he had a lousy lawyer.”
Maybe Manafort’s attorneys have an office in Iowa.
Something doesn’t seem right. You get less for manslaughter or robbing a liquor store.
It’s not about logic, it’s about eliminating the enemy. Fight the battle at hand.
“He absolutely broke the law and deserves punishment.”
Join the side you’re on. Now.
So a guy steals a flag (value $20) then burns it where there is no danger to anything else or anyone....and that is worth 15 years in prison?
Meanwhile, in Portland, officers were ON SCENE when Antifa surrounded a man in his truck, used slingshots against the truck, then stole his thin-blue line flag and American flag and burned them. They were identified at the scene.
No arrests, and no jail time.
Both of these were politically motivated crimes with hugely dissimilar punishments. Where is equal protection under the law?

Other stories have stated that he is a habitual offender.
Fulton County, Indiana
The Gestapo got him. As He Hitlary and minions.
“Other stories have stated that he is a habitual offender.”
Yes, he is a felon and a habitual offender, but he still has rights to have political opinions. He took the stolen flag into the open street and burned it. IMHO, to burn a flag in the open street is no more arson than lighting a cigarette is.
This is a disgraceful effort to silence somebody with an unpopular opinion.
Cruel and unusual punishment. Punishment does not fit the crime.
Who is the judge?
At most that should be restitution and 30 days in the county jail.
“”He absolutely broke the law””
What law is that?
Amendment #8 - Bill of Rights:
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
