Correct, no President has been impeached. Three Presidents have been voted for impeachment.

Impeachment is a ***process*** that results in removal from office. If the removal was never performed, the impeachment process was never completed.

The trial in the Senate determines whether the impeachment process is successful or a failure.

The most that can be said of Trump’s enemies is they successfully voted to impeach (indict) him but we will see their effort will have failed in the Senate, therefore he was not removed and their attempted impeachment not only failed but resulted in their own arrests and convictions.

Michael LeBron, an extremely sharp and successful Trial Attorney agrees with my take and extends it further.

This is therefore lawyer speak but we may say to the howling loons of the left who scream he is impeached, no the impeachment articles FAILED (upon acquittal), therefore the process of impeachment was a bust and President Trump is innocent. He is not an impeached President, he is a President that suffered a failed impeachment attempt by his enemies.

>>>The instant the vote was in, I sent a big contribution to Donald J Trump for President, Inc.<<<

I did the same, except I can’t afford a BIG contribution. I sent what I could, as I did a month or so ago. I will continue to do what I can when the needs arise.

“The Democrats have been threatening and threatening to shoot, and now they’ve taken their shot.”

There is always the option of impeaching him again. I believe they WILL do it, if only to humiliate Trump by being the only President to have that dishonor.

I still remember the quote attested to the democrat Senators who voted not to find Bill Clinton guilty back in 1998. “We didn’t feel like it rose to the level of impeachment”. Well, payback time is here. They don’t need a trial if they all feel like the charges don’t meet the level of an Constitutional impeachment. Just ignore it like it never happened. Then reprimand the House and charge them with sedition to overthrow a Constitutionally elected President.

Mine wasn’t sizable, but I did the same thing.

Johnson fell one vote short of what the Radical Republicans then wanted... his removal, so he would not carry out Lincoln’s designs of a fair Reconstruction, not drawn out and not corrupted with violations of property title and restoration of Rights. And, should also say-— it was Personal. Johnson was a Southerner, who supported Lincoln and the Union (had a lot of those in E. Tennessee, btw- very conflicted within their own families). Johnson having been born in Raleigh, then moved to TN.

So now- let’s see what “force” the drunken, drugged, transgendered, queer, freaks that are the demonrat party can bring to bear, against the TOTAL declassified disclosure of their TREASON in time of War, in appropriate judicial settings under US Statute. (Hint: the War on Terror is still enacted. See Kavanaugh questioning by Sen. Graham on the subject). What is needed is directed, calm and FOCUSED action, legally performed with full knowledge of the idiotic Press/Media.

Ezekiel 25:15-17 KJV:
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it (Edom) for the old hatred.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

In the more “modern” popular gutter language- Pulp Fiction.
“Does Mr. Trump look like a b..tch”? so to speak (warning MF and “F” word language is used): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2WK_eWihdU

A question for anyone that knows a little about House/Senate rules - is the President impeached simply when the majority vote for articles or does it have to be delivered to the Senate as well? If the House doesn’t deliver impeachment articles to the Senate for trial is impeachment only “pending”?

The vote for impeachment is the indictment phase.

The Senate phase is the trial.

The process of impeachment is made up of both phases, indictment and trial.

What people are confusing is indictment with conviction.

One can be indicted but that indictment is nothing without conviction.

It would be as if one of your enemies screaming “you were arrested!” and you responded “I was acquitted, therefore the arrest was a false arrest of no consequence.”

Your enemies might continue “people have shown you are GUILTY!” to which you respond, “no, they didn’t show I was guilty.”

And unless your enemies are stopped, they will wail that you are guilty and the majority determined you were guilty.

And you and your supporters will continue to speak the truth that you are not guilty, rather you were preserved innocent.

What will they say he’s done?

Used the wrong fork for salad?

Nope.

They’ve taken their best shot.

President Trump is still standing.

And he’s smiling.

Impeached in the house. Removal is in the Senate.

The process of impeachment is made up of both phases, indictment and trial.

No, that is not true. If that were the case then there would have never been an impeachment that occurred in this country. Impeachment is the process the House employs to secure an indictment.

A person can be arrested and indicted numerous times for various crimes, and avoid conviction in every case. That person still has an arrest record for the rest of their life.

To equate the two, we have had 3 Presidents charged with "crimes", but none have ever been convicted. They all are considered as impeached for the rest of their lives. Just like someone who has been arrested and indicted, but never convicted, have arrest records that stay with them for their entire lives.
