I agree with the first two, but as disgusting as Weinstein is, I’ll have to disagree with you on that.

He’s uglier than man-made sin. He’s got money. Look at his wife/ex wife, whatever she is. Now make Weinstein a plumber or the owner of a garage. He isn’t getting anywhere near someone with the looks like Georgina Whatever her name is. He is disgusting on many, many levels. But he wasn’t raping and molesting teenagers, to my knowledge.

All the women that Weinstein dealt with, that came out against him, were adults. They made the decision to be with that fat, nasty f*ck to advance their careers. They weren’t naive, teenagers and pre-teens, caught up in something that was way over their head, like the victims of clinton and epstein.

Now, if Weinstein forced himself or drugged them, then that’s a different story. But, I’ve yet to hear anything like that.

I have to agree. Unless roofies are involved, or he overpowered the women, it’s on them.

You don’t get to throw it in hopes of furthering your pitiful career and then complain when you fail anyway. Having sex with a powerful Hollywood creeper does not constitute a valid contract (it fails for illegality of purpose. Prostitution is still illegal in California. See Harris, Kamala).

If, otoh you’re talking about CHILDREN, then you must die before you do it again.

Most people don’t realize there are actually two types of pedophiles. One is just born that way. They have always been turned on by children. They are absolutely, 100% untreatable.

The second come to it later in life, often during some sort of personal crisis. They are generally immature personalities and turn to children as a way of building themselves up. They have very poor coping skills and impulse controls. Often, these are commit opportunity crimes. They’re the boyfriends and stepdads that mom didn’t vet properly. (Don’t get me started).

The second category has some potential for treatment, if the underlying issues are addressed and the perp has a genuine will to change. Personally, I don’t mind keeping them locked up forever or neutered. We, as a society, gain nothing from their presence.
