(Hunger Games Effie was a social butterfly, not a fighter. Gail was a blogger in the Pitch Perfect franchise. Dunno about the rest of her filmography.)

There are tons of movies that did well and have a female protagonist kicking butt.

Maybe if she would come up with an original idea and focus on a good story and plot instead of this social justice crap, people would go see it. But right now people are sick and tired of hollywood remaking old franchises with SJW themes forced on them. It is not entertaining and it’s not helping women at all.
