Just wanted to throw this out there. Over the past several years, we have heard from various billionaires that yes, they should pay more in taxes. Now we have socialist idiots out there - Elizabeth Warren and others - that have now called their bluff. They are saying, okay we'll just take 100 million from you and now, all of a sudden, they are balking at the idea of their wealth being stripped from them. We always knew it was bull but now the hypocrisy is out in the open.

They just don’t want to be hacked to death with a machete.
If you have a billion dollars, you’ll say anything to improve your chances of survival.
This is not that hard people.
The democrat strategy is to fabricate an artificial battle between billionaires and democrat candidates. They’re going back to basics with this ruse.
People like Bill Gates, who are desperate for a democrat to win the presidency, are actively participating in this charade.
Pay attention and see if you can spot the pattern during this election campaign.
if they think they aren't taxed enough they don't need a law raising their taxes, paying taxes is VOLUNTARY!!! or so the IRS says anyway, and they are free to pay as much as they think they should be taxed to make them feel good about themselves... funny that they have armies of tax accountants to ensure they pay as little as possible though
It would require a constitutional amendment to take money away from people as it would violate the 5th Amendment.

They are people, and a lot of people don’t like being singled out for special fees and taxes.
Anybody who says that they do want to be taxed are either lying or out of their cotton pickin minds.

They worked harder and smarter than the rest of us and should not be punished.
If you understand the concept of a wealth tax, then you would be 100% against it unless you are a socialist...

A wealth tax is almost impossible to enforce and could be unconstitutional.......

Warren Buffet always whines that his secretary pays more taxes than he does.
That’s because he doesn’t show any income on his billions of dollars of assets.
Start forcing people to sell assets to pay a “wealth tax” and you will see the stock market evaporate.
Not that Warren will pay it. He’ll renounce his citizenship and move to New Zealand before he does that.

16th amendment was required to specifically tax income.
18th amendment was required to specifically ban alcohol.
There is no amendment specifically allowing tax on wealth.
Until there is, federal tax on wealth is unconstitutional.
