Wow that’s awesome. I use to have an N gauge setup and I came home from school one day with my mother telling me she sold it because it took up too much room and I spent months on it. How nice.
Awesome! Very nice!

Great hobby. Wish I had more time and space to pursue it. Well, money too!
Yes, HO. His attention to gritty detail is amazing — and perfect in every way. Many layouts are too pristine. Neil Young is also a model railroad hobbyist.
Wow!!!!
26 years! Wow, thats dedication..or OCD.
Stewart is British, but the cars are driving on the right side of the road. I guess he decided to make an American city.
Go to the link to see, it is very tall!
There is one like this in San Diego ..maybe not as big but good..

Love the patina of age and wear he gave it. Really adds to the realism.
Interesting that he patterned it on an American industrial district rather than a British one. He says in the article he did that because he was living in the USA when he started building it. He also mentions that he worked on it while he was on tour — he basically brought his workshop along with him on the road. Who knew?
It looks a lot like New York just after World War I before Robert Moses tore out the rail lines along the Hudson and built the West Side Highway.
Yes.
Wow. Glad to see Rod Stewart is talented, after all.
