Except it’s still stuffed with crap characters like Rey, Finn, Poe, Kylo, etc. etc.

What I heard is that they find the Death Star from Jedi and Rey uses the antenna to broadcast the tenets of a new religious order called The Skywalkers to the galaxy. It’s going to be some woke, anti-Jedi nonsense for sure.

Death Star from Return of the Jedi or The Last Jedi? Because the former was completely destroyed.

It’s definitely the Return of the Jedi one. That is kind of shown in the trailer. Don’t expect logic from Disney Star Wars.

Re.. Kylo Ren isn’t a Skywalker.

But he is. He is Luke’s nephew.

Disney Star Wars is a disaster! Summary: $4B+, 4 years, 4 movies, Blockbuster to Box Office Bomb. Here's a quick sequence...

Woke Wars: A Mary Sue Saga

Episode VII - The Female Farce Awakens
Ho Hum - A Woke Wars Movie
Episode VIII - The Last Gasp
So Low - Kennedy's Bottom Line
Episode IX - The Rise of Incompetence

And it's a gift that keeps giving. With Disney Star Wars becoming such a failure and Galaxy's Edge a flop, both are dragging down Disneyland and Disney World. The movies and theme parks were supposed to be cash cows financing Disney's expansion. Now they are losing money.

Because of this, Disney is desperate. It has killed the golden goose of all franchises. And it did so at the same time its accounting practices are being seriously scrutinized.

The Mouse's power hungry greed blinded it to the fact that its whole empire is based on telling good stories well. But it decided to force a toxic feminist agenda on its customers through shoddy story telling.

Disney allowed Clueless Kennedy, Jar Jar “Cut & Paste” Abrams, and Roundhead Johnson to trash a beloved movie saga and blame fans for objecting to being offered garbage for their money.

Way to go, Disney. “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time. But you can't fool all of the people all of them time.” Enjoy your golden parachutes.

Honestly, the whole toxic feminist agenda by Disney started being pushed in 1991 with Beauty and the Beast when Jeffrey Katzenberg demanded for a feminist twist to the story and hired Linda Woolverton to write the film specifically because of her feminist sensibilities.

But yeah, Disney’s killing golden geese everywhere. Let’s hope they fire Iger and replace him and his cronies with someone who will make Disney great again. Eisner never was THIS bad for Disney.

Indeed. Disney rejected wholesome values quite awhile ago. Its movies are mediocre money machines all centered on a theme of female superiority. Only a small portion of its catalog from Walt’s days is available. And its tacit support of “Gay Days” at its parks is revolting!

Add to this the effect of its corporate drones sucking creativity out of all its property and projects and you have a travesty of Walt’s vision. He was all about the art of creating and telling wholesome stories (and making money). Now the company bearing his name is only about making money.

Walt would be appalled!

Does that mean that C3PO will finally shut up?

Blasphemy.

I only read Foundation 3 times. (The first three.)

The sequels and prequels were not so good looking.

Heck, I wouldn’t even say it’s even about making money at this point, either. It’s about pushing far-left political messages to people regardless of whether you gain or lose money. After all, even a company who only cares about making money would naturally be against boycotting a Georgia heartbeat bill precisely because the heartbeat bill is the only thing that will ensure more customers would be born to watch their movies, which essentially translates to more money to gain in the future.

And yeah, several films took Linda Woolverton’s route unfortunately. Fortunately, the movie that started the renaissance, The Little Mermaid, didn’t use female superiority as a theme (in fact, Ariel just wanted to become human, and Eric was treated as a badass just as Ariel was, saved each other a number of times, and the only character who made any feminist statements in the movie was the main villain Ursula. Was also pro-family values as well, even WITH King Triton and Ariel initially fighting). Unfortunately, some idiot critics panned Ariel and her movie as being “cloyingly sexist” because of her even WANTING to go for Eric at all, which resulted in Katzenberg demanding a feminist twist in I think the third or fourth rewrite for Beauty and the Beast (and what’s even more sad is that Michael Eisner actually LIKED the first draft and even allowed Jim Cox to write a screenplay. It was Jeffrey Katzenberg who made that screenplay DOA, and later made the Richard Purdum version DOA as well.). The Lion King was also pretty good as well, and that was despite Linda Woolverton writing the screenplay (also helps that feminism wasn’t even a factor in that film for once). At this point, the only recent Disney movie I can think of where female superiority isn’t a theme by any stretch was Tangled, considering Rapunzel was very vulnerable overall, and in fact, Eugene’s probably the first person to actually HAVE her grow and be a positive influence on her after being cradle-robbed by Mother Gothel (oh, and he also sacrificed himself specifically to ensure Rapunzel remained free from Gothel’s grasp).

Honestly, Eisner, despite his mishaps during the 2000s, was still a better CEO than Iger. At least Eisner actually cared about trying to keep wholesome messages in the Disney films even WITH his tacit support of Gay Days. Not to mention didn’t use company resources to, say, cause a boycott when it was merely CONSIDERED that the Supreme Court might overturn Roe v. Wade (and believe me, the only reason it didn’t was because of Justice Kennedy. If it weren’t for him and his swing vote, we wouldn’t even be worrying about having to overturn Roe v. Wade since it would have already happened by this point.), unlike Iger’s little stunt with the Heartbeat bill in Georgia. Iger’s worse than Eisner. In fact, I’d even say he’s about as bad as Jeffrey Katzenberg (and that guy wasn’t trusted by Roy Disney at all, which is saying something).

Indeed. Disney is now the purview of screeching harpies, corporate drones, and sickos.
