But the fact is that right now no one but her family and friends gives a rat’s ass what that washed-up old hag thinks, says or does.
She was handed commanding Republican majorities in the legislature as Governor. She pissed them away.
I remember when Bush Jr. appointed her head of EPA. When asked how she should be addressed, she said, “Governor”. She was head of a cabinet level office but wanted her staff and all others to call her Governor.
She is not even up to RINO standards. She is a Dem in RINO clothing. Can anything good come out of New Jersey? Living in California, I am saddened to acknowledge that of late, nothing good comes out of CA.
Whitman did come close to beating Bill Bradley in 1990.....and she did beat a poor governor, Jim Florio who has been trying to run for governor for ages.

The only NEWS that I’ve gotten from this dust-up is that there are people on Twitter that actually follow Christine Todd Whitman. She probably thought (and reasonably so) that she could quickly delete her post before anybody saw it.
My thoughts exactly. “Whitless” is entering the phase in her life where age has turned her into a bitter, nasty tart. Maybe it was the death of her husband, John, in 2015 that turned her life sour. She reminds me of that old lady who would come out on her porch and yell us kids to, “Get off my lawn, you bastards!” I can imagine Christie Whitman in her white apron doing the same.
Or they see us out down the road, like Ben Gleck.
