But now that Schiff is conducting secret Star Chamber impeachment hearings, the media has done about face. They're no longer interested in freedom of information and transparency.
"Democracy dies in transparency" is the new mainstream media motto. "Keep those doors closed! DON'T let the sun shine in!"
This used to be known as the Star Chamber.
