This could improve the Fox News anchor line up, depending on who is chosen to replace him in his televised time slot.

I have personally refused to watch or listen to him for the past several years.

I’m a big Fox News Fan. I never voluntarily watched his show. A glimpse here and there taught me enough to know that he was just another token liberal on Fox and not worth my time.

So I did what you did. I just didn’t watch him. That seems like a better solution than the one apparently popular here at FR: Quit Fox News, the new CNN.

And the replacement will be important. Shepard Smith’s show was supposed to be straight news. Most Fox News shows aren’t - they are either opinion or round table discussions.

So the replacement choice will be looked at closely. You need a straight news anchor. Will that anchor look like a CNN escapee or someone more like Martha MacCallum? In any case the choice will tell us a lot about where Fox News is heading.
