People who believe in The Rapture™ point to Matthew 24, but if they would look at verse 37, they would see that this event is being compared to what happened in the days of Noah.

To be literally taken away is contrary to what Jesus taught about the resurrection, which will happen to all[1]. Even Paul didn’t make such assumption when he talked about someone being “caught up to the third heaven” (2 Corinthians 12:2).

There are many passages in the Scriptures that are symbolic, not literal. For example, Peter taught about “new heavens and a new earth” (2 Peter 3:13); does this mean that God has created a new planet for the righteous, somewhere in the Universe, or that Peter is rather talking about the restoration of the Kingdom of Heaven (as explained above, in the first paragraph)?

Interpreting literally the Scriptures is missing the spiritual context from which they were given. When searching truths in the Scriptures, we must first search to be taught by the Holy Ghost (Matthew 16:15-17, John 14:26). A few weeks ago, some Christian debated that it was impossible to understand the Holy Ghost without reading the Scriptures, but such claim forget that these very teachings—about the Holy Ghost—were only put in writing decades after Christ’s ascension and, yet, many still felt—and recognized—the Holy Ghost. Because the Holy Ghost comes from righteousness (Matthew 6:33), and the Scriptures are a tool unto that righteousness.

Matthew 24 is specifically about the destruction of the 2nd temple, not about the Judgement day

This is specifically that some will die in the seige and destruction of Jerusalem in 69-70 AD

The day or the hour referred to in Matthew is clearly about the day or hour of the destruction of the “center of the world for the Jews” - and btw, until 69 AD “the Jews” included both the Christ-followers (future Christians) and the Pharisee followers (future modern Jews) as well as Sadducees, Zealots, Essenes etc.

The trumpet is calling at the end of the 2nd Temple age. That is clearly stated in the book of the Apocalypse that this is the end of the Age John sees.

Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple; and there were flashes of lightning, voices, peals of thunder, an earthquake and heavy hail

The earthquake, lightning is when Christ expired on the cross

Matthew says And the earth shook and the rocks were split; the tombs also were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many" Matthew 27:54

Perhaps you haven't read Daniel? 7:13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man,[a] coming with the clouds of heaven.

Now John 14 - I suggest reading the bible, bro, that would help

John 14 starts off with Jesus saying

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

He's talking to his disciples about the upcoming tribulation that THEY will experience at the hands of the Pharisees and the Romaoi.

The Book of Revelation makes great use of symbolic imagery and theological themes.It used the events contemporaneous to its composition to deliver a message about the ultimate triumph of Christ.

The beast symbolizes the various Roman emperors who persecuted the early Christians but mainly is a symbol of Caesar Nero (whose name in Hebrew has the numerical value of 666).

The so-called “mark of the beast” is presumed by most scholars to allude to the coins of the Roman Empire that bore the image of the emperor.
