SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. -- An investigation is underway after multiple reports that fans from San Clemente High School racially taunted Lincoln High cheerleaders at a football game Friday night in Orange County.
"During the game, multiple spectators heckled the Lincoln players and cheer squad, repeatedly using racial slurs, including the 'n-word,'" said Clovis Honoré, president of the San Diego branch of the NAACP. "Furthermore, cheer squad members were racially harassed in restrooms, again including the 'n-word.' This harassment came not only from high-school-age youth but also from adult fans."
According to state education data, Lincoln High’s enrollment in the 2018-2019 school year was 19 percent African- American, 70 percent Hispanic and 3 percent Caucasian. San Clemente High was 62.6 percent Caucasian, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
In a statement posted to Lincoln High's Facebook page by principal Stephanie Brown, she said "I'm saddened to share with you reports of racism directed against our students at the football game in San Clemente on Friday night. At least several of our students were met with racial slurs by the fans of the other team."

When I see that crap I will speak up. If the guests are unruly, you can call them on that. But this sounds like plain old racist garbage to me.

Sadly, there remain a great many ignorant people in this country. The San Clemente kids are no execption.
Cheerleaders... they don’t make ‘em like they used to.
It’s unfortunate if this young woman really was the subject of racial slurs, but, yeah, her state of semi-literacy is a bigger problem for her in the long run.
Given the behavior of high school students, particularly on the lower socioeconomic side of the scale (regardless of race) I am sure a few stupid kids said stupid things to one another...
However, what the hell is there to investigate?
While someone using such language is inappropriate, it is NOT illegal.. Even if it is determined that some kids or adults behaved that way, what is there to investigate?
the small of Jussie style fake hate reporting is strong with this case. They mention the “62” per cent Caucasian population of the one school while the other was broken down into 19 per cent black, 70 per cent Hispanic, 3 per cent white. They don’t mention what the other races are at the “62” per cent white school.( Which was 26 per cent Hispanic and 12 per cent everything else at San Clemente)
So no proof whites were involved. Yet the Jussi Smollett smell is strong in this story. I wonder what the inside cameras would show concerning the slurs in the bathrooms. Any videos floating around proving that the slurs were done during the game? People are always filming this stuff now a days?
Imagine if Twitter and Instagram were hacked showing all texts in cursive.
Is it ironic or just uncanny that this “racism” was perpetrated at a school named for Abraham Lincoln?
I wonder if the fact that San Clemente is the former home of President Nixon, is another reason the press is anxious to go with this story.
San Clemente upper middle and upper class whites, very few of the negroid persuasion. Saw the story this morning on local tv.

San Clemente is in Orange County and is a very well off town, mostly white but with a large Asian population. OC has been a target for a while as the last bastion of urban conservatism in California. With ballot harvesting the last go round they finally got a Dem in there. I think this story really reeks, personally. I’d love to see cell phone video and I want to know the identies of the San Clemente students purportedly making racist remarks.

Hispanics are included in the “white” numbers—see the student population figures earlier in the thread.
Sometimes when you go about whipping people up into storms of moral outrage about something or other, some of the people resent and rebel about being herded along with the crowd and you end up getting more of what you’re trying to suppress......
