People are comparing this to Ben Roethlisberger’s similar situation years ago. There is more credible evidence in the Brown lawsuit filing than in anything related to Ben. If the Pats/NFL/court/Prosecutors verify those texts are real... I think there’s a possibility he goes to jail. At a minimum the nfl commissioner should suspend him while they conduct their investigation.

Show me the police report...if there is no police report, then why is the attack in the press and not in the justice system? Just another lying bimbo, there is no shortage of them these days.

Put him on hold and extend that 10-foot-pole in his general direction. Certainly they have a sub-clause (c) somewhere to that effect.

She was raped on 3 different occasions?

After the first rape most women I know would have stayed 100 miles away from the guy.

A woman is raped TWICE in 2017 and once in 2018? She kept being employed by Brown. She wants part of his big fat Patriot pay check.

Caught by surprise?

The NFL has a security/investigatory arm.

Supposedly it’s one of the best in the private sector.

Someone needs to stand up for poorly educated, low IQ, oft-concussed football players who suddenly find themselves with huge bank accounts.

These guys are sitting ducks and easy pickings for any rapacious woman with a nice ass.

If the Patriots were surprised by ANYTHING related to Antonio Brown, they're morons.

The guy is a stunted misfit whose reputation precedes him. I'd consider it just another day in the life of Antonio Brown if he showed up for practice with his testicles transplanted onto his forehead.

They will play him until/unless he ends up in jail.

Take that to the bank.

OMG. From 2017. This may explain a lot. Especially if you recognize the name.

From teen mother to NFL security chief, Cathy Lanier's rise through the law enforcement ranks

Sounds like a shakedown.

No police report.

Victim continued follow-up with alleged rapist for investment in business venture, which he declined. Now rape charges.

Victim accompanies alleged rapist to strip clubs after so called rapes.

This should be rejected.

He wanted to sign with a good team quickly before this became public knowledge, otherwise, the Pat’s would have told him “sorry, we don’t need this crap following us.” Now they are stuck with paying him what he got guaranteed, even tho he kept this from them. Knowing the Pat’s, they might just cut his ass anyway and move one down the road. Bill does not take this crap lightly. He will cut the bait and move on.

If this guy worked for me I would not change his employment status unless it became a criminal issue with DA and police involved. Even then maybe not unless he was convicted. Being a football player is no different than any other employment situation, and he should be presumed innocent.

Having said that, Brown is obviously a low form of life with no values. He uses people. I would not be sorry to see him cut from the team. Head and heart conflict there I know.

The New England Patriots were reportedly unaware that Antonio Brown was facing sexual assault and rape accusations when the team signed him last week, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Yeah right. Belichick is never caught by surprise. By anything.

Upon leaving Susie Wong’s Happy Ending Emporium, Patriots owner Bob Kraft was heard saying, “ maybe I misunderstood when AB said he wanted to make a come back in New England.”

After viewing the game last Sunday when the Patriots killed the Steelers, I would think they are re-thinking the wisdom of signing brown. Given the talent I saw on the field last Sunday, I would ask “Who Needs Him?”.

This is a joke, right? Onion? Babylon Bee?

This guy is supposed to have raped this gal three separate times between 2017 and 2018 and she never reported it to the police, never quit as his trainer but then decides to go public with it and cooperate with any NFL investigation, only two days after he signs a contract worth $20 million?

Yeah, that sounds reasonable. /sarc/

Look it up in the dictionary folks. It's called a gold digger.

Yea, sure - and Tom Brady and Belichick were surprised that footballs were being deflated to give them an advantage (sarc)!!

What do the Pats and Raiders have in common? "Just Win Baby!"
