Philadelphia 76ers forward Mike Scott got into a fight with Eagles fans at Sunday's game against the visiting Washington Redskins after allegedly receiving racial taunts from tailgaters.

A video was posted before Sunday's kickoff showing a person, apparently Scott, in a fight with Eagles fans outside the stadium. He did not appear to get hurt, and fans tweeted afterward that Scott took selfies with them.

According to PhillyVoice, which interviewed around a dozen witnesses and reviewed video evidence, the incident began with playful ribbing, but turned ugly when some individuals directed racial slurs, including the n-word, at Scott.

The basketball player is on the Philly team but is a Redskins fan and was wearing some of that team’s apparel. In some NFL towns, you really don’t want to be at the game wearing the opponent’s colors. Fly Eagles.

That video proves absolutely nothing. Maybe it was “racism” or maybe it was completely unrelated and yet another constant dose of MSM “let’s shame America with racism-everywhere charges”

He would die. He might die without the hat.
Same for Camden, Chester, “Riverside” of Wilmington, Baltimore...

A black Eagles fan at the tailgate was also fighting with Scott. This is not a racial issue just more thug fan behavior. Scott has a pretty good rep with the fans and went to the game to meet some friends.

WashPhiladelphia 76ers forward Mike Scott got into a fight with Eagles fans at Sunday's game against the visiting Washington Redskins after allegedly receiving racial taunts from tailgaters...the fact that Scott showed up wearing Washington Redskins gear to taunt the Eagles fans probably wasn't mentioned - I refused to wait minutes until the complete page loaded to find out for sure - as someone who thinks a verbal taunt is no more offensive and probably less damaging than any other kind, I would say the taunts were offsetting.....

He plays for Philly 76ers, but decided he just HAD to wear his Redskins jersey during an Eagles-Redskins matchup to make some kind of point.

Philly’s Eagles brigades don’t take too kindly to it. This is WELL-KNOWN to anyone who grew up in Philly. I did.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. He’s lucky he didn’t get his head busted open.
