You got that right. My daughter used to work in the cash office at the Cowboys games. She told us we wouldn't believe how much they raked in just from the parking fees.
I went to the Florida-Michigan game at Jerry World a few years ago.
I vowed to never again grace Jerry World with my presence.
There are a lot of empty seats at NASCAR races, as well, these past few weeks. F1 and IndyCar venues are filled.
I see lots of red in Jax, I guess the Chiefs fans got good seats.
The owners might be seeing some red, too.

Tickets are too expensive for the average Joe.
And the league doesn’t care because it is the TV money, where all the money comes from.
I remember in the early 90’s, being a broke college student, still going to a playoff game at Texas Stadium.

These shots tend towards the “lies, damned lies, and statistics”. You’ve got pics at the end of blowouts. One pic is before the teams come out, another during opening coin toss. These are windows when either people are leaving early or just not in their seats yet. Give me some middle 4th quarter of a tight game, that’s when butts are in seats.
They sure do in Denver. I'd say those two teams have precious few hard core fans.
Hubby couldn’t be bothered to watch the Cowboys’ game on tv yesterday.
I’m not happy that Ezekiel Elliott got rewarded for his behavior, especially considering how much they’re going to have to pay Dak, after how he looked yesterday.
Sun-Belt fans are notoriously Fair-Weather fans.
We sat in nosebleed seats at a Seahawks preseason game three years ago, maybe 20 rows from the top of the stadium. We were given the tickets by a friend who holds season tickets and couldn’t use them.
$20 to park 1/2 mile from the stadium, $280 per seat for the tickets. We would never, ever pay to go to a Seahawks game at that price. $280 to sit in the nosebleeds!!!!! Unbelievable.
Rams/Charlotte game not a blowout. Looks like < 50% full...
So few fans, they introduced the fans to the players to save time.
The Jacksonville picture is VERY misleading. There are three minutes left in the game, and the visiting Chiefs are ahead 40-19. The Jacksonville fans left ebcause it was a blowout. The primary tell that something was wrong is that the remaining fans are wearing red, the visitors’ colors.
