I never have understood why size makes it a better kill.
Doesn’t that just make them SLOWER?
Generally the critter is stronger, smarter and in this case more dangerous.
The big ones are just as fast as the smaller ones (maybe a little faster due to their greater strength), plus they’re stronger, and likely wilier since they’ve lived longer. I’m not even remotely familiar with hunting crocodilians of any kind, but I think I’d much rather hunt the smaller ones that are still dumb enough to grab at anything, haven’t experienced humans that much, and aren’t likely to be strong enough to pull me out of the boat or even swamp the boat itself.
