Whenever these threads come up, someone (or one few) always alludes “blame” to the Amish. It’s meant with total irony. No one is really blaming the Amish for these atrocities. Just castigating the _least_ likely because putting the blame where it really lies is politically incorrect, insensitive, “racist”, etc. to the Left.
I think this photo is meant in the same ironic, “there they go again” vein.
...But I genuinely think those are Mennonite ladies in that photo. Not Amish.

I have long thought that the Probate court needs to intervene and order the parent (at least one) be in attendance with the student in a chair right next to them. If the kid walks, he walks and the parent can deal with it.

In my state, parents and teachers carry in school. Oh, and at the universities, 18-21s can carry.
Other than Romney, there is some sanity in Utah. I can guandamntee this video wasn’t taken here.
I learned all I needed to know when they cheered and celebrated OJ Simpson getting away with killing two whites.
All these thugs desire is respect. That is the last thing they deserve.
WE should bring back public punishment: whipping & the stocks would be a good start. Put these thugs in stocks in a public place where people can laugh, spit, & throw rotten food at them. Whip the violent ones until they beg for mercy, then put them in the stocks for a few days. If they threaten revenge, leave them in the stocks until they change their tune.
If that doesn’t change them for the better, hang them in public so their like-minded thugs can see what is in store for them, too.
I don’t favor guns in the classroom, only because these young thugs could take a gun away from a teacher & start shooting.
Instead, a teacher should have a button they can push which immediately summons a security detail that will remove the offenders & have the thugs arrested, jailed, & expelled from school.
The expelled thugs should then be required to attend a “boot camp” school where burly “instructors” will emphasize civilized behavior & respect for others, for as long as it takes.
