A barn next to a house I lived in was cleaned out. The rats got in my house and walls...heard them climbing around. So I took a 5 gallon bucket and put anti freeze in it and a board ramp up to the lip. Next morning had 3 dead rats in the bucket. Left the bucket in the garage for a week...caught one more. Problem solved.
