Most fentanyl is from the illicit market. You can buy alcohol anywhere. The oxycodone could have been off the street or prescribed.
So where should you place the blame?
The pitcher. No, highly paid athletes of legal age can’t be held responsible for their actions because they are idols.
The person that sold or gave him the fentanyl? No, it’s too hard to go after them. Anyways, they were all having a good time.
The alcohol producer or seller. No, alcohol is legal and we already went through prohibition.
The doctor. Yes, there you go. Even if it was a friend’s pill, the doctor should have known that the pill could have been stolen or passed around. Maybe he got a prescription and the doctor told the guy to drink alcohol with it and have fun at parties.
“....with terminal aspiration of gastric contents.” The drugs may have killed him anyway, but according to that sentence in the report, at some point he vomited and inhaled the vomit, and strangled. I once knew a guy who fell out of a tree stand hunting deer, landed on his head and face, and strangled on the contents of his stomach.....in addition to his broken neck.
Son is fine, thanks.
Good!
Glad to hear that he is fine!
You and I are going to have to disagree.
Died of a heart attack. The ham sandwich 'story' was bogus.
Thats quite alright. We comment to discuss our thoughts, not engage in groupthink.
Enjoy the holiday weekend.
He choked on his own vomit. Just like Jimmy Hendrix and many other drug abusers.
