After the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles tried to make a woman turn in her potty-humored vanity license plates, New Hampshire governor Chris Sununu stepped in to personally overturn the decision and let her keep it.
Wendy Auger, a bartender in Rochester, has had plates reading "PB4UGO" for 15 years. But last week, she received a recall notice from the DMV, ordering her exchange them for a standard license plate or another vanity plate.

Usually “Potty Humor” is pretty low. But, that’s right funny, I don’t care who you are.
They would see the first two letters and thing she was talking about peanut butter.
Totally funny and inoffensive. Who knew there were government tight-asses in NH? They just need to lighten up.
That is pretty tame and it is funny. I’m sure people with kids particularly appreciate the humor.
I’ve been waiting for three years to get a Letter from the CA DMV to recall my “TRUMP 45” Vanity License Plate.
NH is indeed the land of vanity plates. Totally not surprising. :)

I am going to be so glad to call Sununu my governor when we change our state of residency as opposed to Cuomo now.
My husband had his Virginia license plate recalled. In the meantime, he had moved to California so, he ignored the recall til time to register in CA so, he never returned it. I am surprised it lasted as long as it did. It was pretty bad. First 3 letters were PHC, next 2 were the name of a famous root beer and the last was the 6th letter of the alphabet. Honestly, I cannot believe it was ever issued but we have the plate here.
Ooops This was over 30+ years ago. So, no bots to catch it. But, still......lol
Ironic that she is hassled by the Government for humor on a live free or die licence plate.
Struggled with the root beer name for a minute and nearly spit my drink when I figured it out.
