Nonpolitical? That light bulb is a monument to male patriarchy and white supremacy as well as a benchmark in the industrial revolution that caused climate change which has a disproportionate impact on transgendered people and vegans. NOW THAT'S FUNNY

Never liked CFL bulbs - I only have one left - when it goes it gets replaced with LED.
I love the LEDs - they are bright and use less power and don’t throw heat. I can put a 100 watt equivalent LED into a fixture that will only take a 75 watt incandescent. I have had one (store brand) LED burn out prematurely, but the rest of them have been soldiering on for years now.
