One of the top 10 "you're in the wrong uniform" moments in any sport

Well when he gets divorced, i am sure “family” court will put a hefty bill on him, so yeah, he probably will be back.

Yep. Football really started to change in ‘78 because Don Shula couldn’t beat Oakland and Pittsburgh with their defenses, so his committee changed the rules to favor the offense.

The irony of it is that Pittsburgh and Oakland won 3 more Superbowls before Shula made it back to the Superbowl, and he never won one after the rule changes.

Yeah man what a disaster all around.

The toughest part of being human is, if you allow yourself, to regret and double guess past decisions.

Lionesses don’t sit around thinking “I should have gone after that OTHER antelope. He was a little slower than the one I chased and didn’t get!!”

“As a pure passer,” he said, “I don’t think I’d put anybody ahead of Bert Jones. I know he had a short career and the shoulder injury, but when I was there and he was just starting his career, the success that he had and his ability throw the ball as a pure passer and as an athlete, it would be hard to put anybody ahead of Bert Jones at that point in time.”

I was a fanatic Rams fan back when George Allen was the coach and Roman Gabriel was the quarterback. I remained a fan during the Tommy Prothro, Chuck Knox, George Allen II and Ray Malavasi years. But when Georgia Frontiere moved them to St. Louis, I always rooted for them to lose.

These days, I just don’t care. I recall that they were in this year’s Super Bowl, but I didn’t watch it. I know they lost, but I don’t remember who they played or what the score was.

However, next week, I will be in the LA Memorial Coliseum to cheer on the USC Trojans as they take on the Cal State Fresno Bull Dogs.

Not writing off Dak just yet. This year will tell us a lot.

I have the same feeling as you regarding the Rams. I was a kid in the 70’s and loved the Rams then. Lawrence McCutcheon, Isaiah Robertson, Youngbloods, etc. Those were my teams. Went to the last home game at the big A and that was it for me and the Rams...

I remember Jones. They had an excellent team for about 2 years.

At this point, what happens during the season doesn’t matter a whole lot, or the playoffs for that matter, until Brady retires.

He could have three starting wide receivers in wheel chairs and still win the superbowl.

Blame the horrid previous GM of the Colts who did not invest draft picks or money to protect Luck. Luck was one of the most hit QBs.
