U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents and their medical contractors do not administer influenza vaccines to migrants being held at detention centers along the U.S.-Mexico border, reports said Tuesday.
“In general, due to the short-term nature of CBP holding and the complexities of operating vaccination programs, neither CBP nor its medical contractors administer vaccinations to those in our custody,” the agency told The Hill in a statement. Children receive the flu vaccine once they are transferred from CBP to Health and Human Services (HHS) custody, the CBP spokesperson said.
Earlier this month, doctors from Harvard, Johns Hopkins and other medical groups wrote a letter to two top House Democrats, asking for a congressional investigation into conditions at border detention centers ahead of flu seasons. The doctors argued a “rapid turnover of detainees increases the spread of influenza” at centers.
The doctors said at least three of the six children who died in CBP custody this year were at least partially affected by the flu, according to their autopsy reports. …

God help us! You know there will be a fatal or disastrous reaction to even only one of these people and their family will win the lawyer’s lottery. So the US Taxpayer will be put on the hook for that, as well. Knowing how the “victim” industry works, as a taxpayer, I propose we allow them to suffer the “natural risk” they have incurred on their own.
Send them home for their shots and any medical treatment.
Yup, this is what especially galls me, we veterans and other Americans on the streets, we have Americans that can’t get free medical or free flu shots but the demoncraps can always find tons of taxpayer money for illegals.
Whatever happened to ‘getting your shots’ before traveling to a foreign county?
When my wife came to this country almost 50 years ago, she had to show her International Immunizations card to get in.
We just can’t do enough for them
I’m sure every single one of them always got an annual flu shot in their sh!thole home countries. Not to mention elective surgeries and cancer treatments that they are demanding here.

If we had an effective political opposition party the Mexican government would receive an invoice for most of our "illegal migrant" costs. The problem our government has caused for us would vanish overnight.
