WTH? Where is CONgress on the “suspicious device” legislation DEMANDING more intergalactic background checks? And this perp with a criminal record just bought them willy nilly. Oh, the yuge manatee!

We can just call him “Mohammad” until we know what his real name is (which is probably something very close to that anyway).

His name is Larry Griffin, 26 y/o. Known to have ‘mental issues’. Simply have ‘mental issues’ is not a crime, in fact in my opinion, most people do have some level of what could be described as a ‘mental or emotional disorder’ but it is kept under control. That’s just an aspect of being a human being.

But if someone doesn’t know any better than not to scare the community by planting bomb-like devices here and there, then society needs protection from that kind of person until they can control that compulsion.

“then society needs protection from that kind of person until they can control that compulsion.”

Or he could be dragged into the street and beaten until he sees the error of his ways.

That would also work as a technique of Aversion Therapy.

“Do you really want to leave that fake-bomb by the Baptist Church today? You remember what happened last time you tried it, and all those old ladies smacked your head with their bibles and their Pocketbooks. Their grandkids then uploaded the video on YouTube.
Do you wanna deal with all that again? I didn’t think you did!”

Where are we as a culture when a rice cooker is now considered a “bomb-like device”? What’s next: crock pots? They look like pressure cookers too.

Thanks.

I will use your remark whenever the mediots fail to name the criminal or potential terrorist.

Just call him “Mohammad” until we know what his real name is!

He and the St Louis area WalMart gun toter are basically the same - as far as anything goes.

Neither broke a law, neither showed any COMMON SENSE.

In St Louis that fireman that ‘stopped’ the gun toter could be in more legal trouble than the dude as would be the case if you or I had tackled this guy planting the ‘deadly rice cookers’ in a public street.
Maybe get him for littering BUT he actually did NOTHING wrong...

Back in the days of the ‘DC Sniper(s)’ ‘we’ were sort of amazed what 2 people could do to ‘terrorize’ an area...just think if there were 10 or 12 teams working simultaneously throughout the country...

Or say at 0830 a set of cars get 3/4 of the way through the tunnels/bridges in NYC and have a few cars just stop and the drivers walk away.....and someone call in a bomb threat...PANIC...

Why is it that the authorities, media, and politicians refuse to acknowledge “trial runs” when they see them... Happens every time...

Imagine 100,000 muslim jihadis here on H-1B, L-1, refugee and expired student visas working in power plants, fertilizer factories, refineries, chemical manufacturers, hospitals, utilities, dams, pharmaceutical formulators, web hub server farms, municipal water supply facilities, sewage treatment plants, meat packing and food processing plants, driving HazMat trucks...

Remember when the Vietcong took over Huế? They were able to round up every government official, march them all off into the jungle and kill every single one of them in one night

They knew exactly where they lived, who they visited, where they shopped and where they ate dinner, and when.

How you ask?

The cabbies had been providing the data on their every move for years in advance.

Soooo, where do most of the cabbies in your berg come from? In Washington DC, it's Somalia...

Just because we've forgotten the lessons of Huế and the lessons of the Sepoy Rebellion's "The Perfect Day" doesn't mean our enemies have.
