Interesting point on apathy. I’ll remember that. The most violence-producing psychoactives are the SSRI anti-anxiety drugs. Also keeps both soldiers going into combat and mass-shooters from worrying about the outcomes, eh?
All categories of violent crime are down about 40% since the early 90s...
Wednesday’s cop-shooter in Philly had a six-time felony record for illegal gun possession. He never should have been let out after the first time: Today’s Leftist cries for gun “control” are a prime example of Govt going after the innocent because they never punish the guilty. SORRY! No WAY, Jose!
“going after the innocent because they never punish the guilty”
Excellent point. Love it!
I was on theses medications for years. I am bi-polar. the most dangerous thing a about the ssri anxiety drugs are that both family and the person taking it look at all this wonderful improvement in feelings of will being and don’t realize that what ever homicidal impulses the person has is not taken care of. I am truly thankful for the improvement years ago that theses drugs gave to me but it never took care of the mental shit going on in my head. the paranoia was still there but it did give me the ability to mask it from others. I am fortunate not to be an angry person but if I was taking a SSRI drug and I had been a angry person it would of given me the ability to act out my anger because I would not been a slave to apathy that characterizes most depressed individuals.
Thanks for sharing your personal observations.
Yep - and the real irony is that those who tell us they want to “end” mass shootings, also supported Obama when he told us we would” just have to get used to the occasional terrorist attack...
In the church service, prayers were offered for the shooting victims, as well as the deaths in Congo due to tribal warfare (affecting a sister church of ours). Most of the deaths are due to arson, machetes and beatings there.
It really is a sin problem, and not a gun problem.
