A 9-year-old girl is suing a centuries-old Berlin boys choir, arguing that her bid to join was only rejected because of her gender, in a case that has sparked debate over equal rights versus artistic freedom.
The State and Cathedral Choir is one of the most renowned boys choirs in Germany, founded in 1465 by Fredrick II of Brandenburg. Over its 554 years, it has never admitted any girls.
The girl, whose identity was not revealed to protect her privacy, auditioned with the choir in March and was rejected, according to the Berlin administrative court that is to rule on the suit Friday.
The choir contends the girl’s rejection was “not predominantly about her gender” and she would have been asked to join if she had displayed extraordinary talent and motivation and “if her voice had matched the desired sound characteristics of a boys choir,” the court said. …

A girl’s parents are suing a boy’s choir because she wants to join. Same thing happened to the Boy Scouts. This is what men get for trying to be polite and let feminists have their way. The response, by the girl’s parents, should have been, honey, that particular choir is for boys, not for girls.

She was not rejected because of her gender. She has no gender. She was rejected because of her sex. Biden is correct in saying that there are three genders, though his saying it constitutes a gaffe because he thought he was referring to sex. The genders are Masculine, Feminine, and Neutral. Gender is a grammatical category that is only tangentially related to sex. Don’t let the Left change the language moment to moment. I think we definitively lost the language when Red and Blue were switched and conservatives instantly accepted the new designations.

That will be the end of spaces for females, whether it's bathrooms or shelters or concerts or choirs --- and obviously, the end of women's athletics.
You've got to take responsibility for the long-term cultural consequences. Feminists will realize that the sexes (and there are only two, neither more nor less) need their distinctively different cultural spaces --- and if they destroy them, they will reap what they sow.
