Fast yes. But will it handle like the Ferrari F8 Tributo?

The Tributo costs $350,000, and the Mustang is around $80k. Not exactly the same market.

I might go a step further & say that not many dealerships would want to PAY the kind of techs you’d want working on something like this. I know I sure wouldn’t when I was a tech.

Your gutless snark is duly noted.

btw, I never posted anything about the reliability of Alfa - the Ford/GM suckers simply had no other defense for their long failed designs.

Clearly, the Ford/GM suckers are enthralled with a car than can go fast...but only straight. LOL!

Engineered by the same man who gave us the Ferrari 458
Ferrari (California T/Portofino) engine
Ferrari steering system
Ferrari engineering
...and a hell of a lot better styling than Ford/GM

There is a lot more to it than that. You don’t have control over it you do the manual/clutch. Bumper to bumper traffic is a good example. You just don’t see that in a race.

It’s just not the average joe’s automatic. The computer programs that run it is also a problem too. There are just too many different scenarios in regular traffic that never occur during a road race.

Do they even make manuals anymore? I feel lazy and detached with an automatic.

Let's see if Jack Roush can improve the performance...I might want to take it to Michigan and race Joey Logano this weekend...or Kevin Harvick or Brad Keselowski...or maybe see if I can beat Kyle Busch with his Toyota...😋

I really loves my 5-speed, but it's in an older F150 4x4.

I have to start my car 3 times to say i fired up 700+ horsepower....still can’t get on it for more than 3-4 seconds w/o busting the speed limit and as i get older, I realize that sporting all them ponies is like having a boat docked in a dried up lake...
Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t like to hop in one and be able to run it through the paces like i used to in my “youth”, just can’t see leaving all the goodies to collect dust on the shelf with actual ownership.

I lost my license
Now I don’t drive

“Fast yes. But will it handle like the Ferrari F8 Tributo?”

Your best bet is the 2020 mid-engine Corvette. It’s quicker (and I’m pretty sure faster) than this Mustang, and less expensive to boot! :-)

YES!!! MANY DIFFERENCES!!

Is there a price difference?

If I break down between Vegas and SLC, is there a dealer network to get parts/repairs?

How much is the first tune-up?

It all boils down to which of these differences mean the most to YOU the purchaser.

The base price of this new Mustang and A-R Giulia Quadrifoglio are basically the same.

That said...

The Giulia Quadrifoglio, with its’ Ferrari engine, steering/handling & overall design, is LIGHT YEARS beyond the Ford in terms of pure engineering, performance & styling.

Your “Vegas and SLC” comment is totally irrelevant to this discussion as we are comparing cars of similar price points.

Please stay attentive...

I haven’t been in the 2020 but have driven a 2019 Z06.

The Mustang is a different class. I went with the Mustang because it is a friendlier car to drive on public roads.

Please post prices and specs that support your post.

“Ditto the Alfa-Romero Giulia Quadrifoglio which has a Ferrari steering system for same price as this Mustang.”

For the same price you can get a GT350-R which is faster than the Alpha on the track.
