The View has become more toxic than ever and morale among staffers is at an all-time low - and it's all due to Meghan McCain, insiders have exclusively told DailyMail.com.
The 34-year-old conservative is at the root of discord behind the scenes at ABC's long-running daytime talk show, earning her the nickname 'Manic McCain!' by producers for her inappropriate outbursts on screen and off.
McCain's spats with co-host Joy Behar, including calling her a b***h on live TV and accusing Sunny Hostin of leaking negative stories about her, have reached such a boiling point that group Hot Topics meetings have been cancelled, sources said.
'It's never been this bad,' an ABC insider told DailyMail.com 'I've been around a long time, but the morale at the show is worse than ever - even worse than when Rosie O'Donnell was here!'

Au contraire, most women, being highly verbal creatures, like the arguing, preening, talking over and insulting each other. Put 2 or more women together, and you get an argument with 18 opinions.
Without McCain they might have. The friction she brought to the show caused the ratings to increase dramatically. In terms of the ratings she brings McCain is probably the most valuable member of the cast.

Frankly the show is more harmful to an individual’s mental development than watching hard core pornography IMO.

I don’t watch this but it sounds like a take off of a Jerry Springer show of yesteryear.
I watch the first segment sometimes ....there just like the MSN ...there all air heads..Woppi is the only one with half a brain..

There was an episode of “Family Guy” where Stewie erased the memories of the four main dudes to see how they would react. After they had slowly figured out what their relationships were and Stewie restored their memories, he showed Brian a TV screen with three of the main women characters screeching and punching and pulling each other’s hair out. He said, “I thought I’d try the experiment on women, too. They just woke up two minutes ago. Haven’t even asked each other’s names yet.”
There is a measurable degree of “morale” on The Viewed Feud? Who knew?
I can believe the “toxic” part, though. Every day on there is like vitriol, and I am surprised that Meghan has held out as long as she has.
